Specialist, trauma-informed support for children and young people who require stability, safety, and consistent relationships that promote sustainable, positive outcomes.
Responsive, relationship-based care designed to stabilise crisis, rebuild trust, and support young people to grow in confidence, independence, and emotional security.
Every placement is built around the young person, their voice, their pace, their experiences, and their individual needs.
Cariad Care was founded by professionals with extensive experience supporting children and young people with complex needs and experiences of trauma.
We recognise that behaviour is often a reflection of adversity, unmet need, lived experience and miscommunication.
Through this work, we have consistently identified the impact that language, perception, and service responses can have on how young people are understood and supported. Too often, complex need is framed in ways that focus on behaviour rather than experience, which can unintentionally reinforce stigma and disconnection.
Our role is to guide, support, and empower young people to make choices that promote their development, growth, and healing, within environments where they feel safe, accepted, and understood.
Cariad Care was created to provide a service that responds differently, we:

We provide safe, consistent and trauma-informed support for children and young people with complex needs, supporting them to stabilise, rebuild trust, empowering them to gain autonomy and control and move forward with confidence.
We are committed to creating environments where young people feel accepted, understood, and supported to make choices that promote their development, independence, and long-term wellbeing.
Through relational care, professional integrity, and partnership working, we aim to deliver meaningful, sustainable outcomes for every child and young person we support.
